THE PROJECT

Taking account of loadings of UDL 50kN/m2 and also 90kN individual racking leg load, the selected design option was a steel fibre reinforced concrete joint-free Freeplan S(R) floor slab, 250mm thick.

OUR APPROACH

The floor was constructed using 12,000m3 of C40 grade concrete reinforced with AFT +1/60 steel fibres at a dosage rate of 45kg/m3 and finished to a flatness tolerance of FM2 Special.
