Financial Controller

Operating internationally across a diverse range of sectors, including logistics and warehousing, manufacturing, food and beverage, cold storage, data centres, automotive and other technically demanding environments, we combine global expertise with strong local market knowledge to solve complex flooring challenges.

We are looking for a Financial Controller to support financial reporting, control and analysis across multiple Twintec companies, working closely with our financial and operational teams.

Location

This role can be based in:

• Luxembourg: Luxembourg City or Koetschette.
• Dubai: Based in our offices.
• Belgium: Visé.

What will you be doing?

As a Financial Controller at Twintec, you will support the Finance Manager / CFO by handling multi-entity financial reporting, intercompany reconciliations and periodic closing processes across various Twintec companies.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
• Participate in periodic closing processes, journal entry reviews and variance analyses.
• Oversee and reconcile general ledger transactions and accounts across multiple group entities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reviews and budget-versus-actual performance reports.
• Support internal and external statutory audits and enforce internal control procedures.
• Monitor and review the financial performance of the business units.
• Contribute to the accurate and timely day-to-day financial and administrative management of the company under the supervision of the Finance Manager / CFO.
• Ensure that decisions, changes and significant business events are accurately reflected in the figures, management reports and analyses.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a finance professional with the following qualifications, experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
• Five years’ experience in controlling, audit, accounting or financial analysis, ideally within a multi-company environment or corporate group.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and advanced lookups; experience with ERP software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with financial and operational teams.
• A practical, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Well organised, detail-oriented and able to work autonomously while meeting deadlines.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
