1996 – The Beginning
Founded by Bruno Lazzari in Europe, Twintec was created with a clear purpose: to push the boundaries of industrial concrete flooring.
Early innovation focused on the development of SFRC Jointless Slab technology, delivering higher performance floors with fewer joints, reduced maintenance, and improved durability.
2000 - International Expansion
During the 2000s, Twintec rapidly expanded beyond its European roots, establishing a presence across major European markets while also delivering early projects in the Middle East and the United States.
This period marked Twintec’s transition from a European specialist into an internationally recognised partner for high-performance SFRC jointless slab solutions.
Twintec also advanced its product offering, including the development of Twintec Ultimate seamless slabs and ECO slab technologies, supporting customers’ increasing performance and sustainability requirements.
2020–2025 – Strategic Growth & Group Development
With the appointment of Julien Lazzari as CEO, Twintec entered its next phase of growth, focused on strengthening operational capability, accelerating innovation, and expanding its long-term strategic direction.
With investment from GEI, Twintec further accelerated its development and expanded its international footprint.
Key milestones included:
- Acquisition of Kalman (USA), supporting expansion into the North American market
- Acquisition of Mendes (France), further extending French operations and technical capability
- Continued investment into engineered solutions, systems innovation, and lifecycle performance support
