Their new distribution center in Butner, NC includes a new freezer and a new 28-bay cold dock. This 123,000 sq. ft. facility will increase storage capacity and allow Food Lion to more effectively serve their customers.

Our Approach

Twintec was the chosen specialty concrete floor slab provider for the construction of this facility. The floor slab was reinforced with 66 lbs/yd3 of AFT® 1/50 steel fibers. These specifications will provide the end user with a slab they can rely on, designed to minimize maintenance and repair costs for the future of the building.
