The Project

As discerning facility owners understand, sawn control joints, as found with all conventional slabs, result in recurring, costly issues. Forklift wheel replacement costs and other productivity inefficiencies due to lower handling speeds are entirely caused by the operation of sawn, damaged conventional slabs where sawn joints have curled, spalled else failed thoroughly.

Twintec USA provided design-build services with their Freeplan™ turn-key engineered slab system at the newest freezer expansion to support distribution services for Trader Joe's along the 1-5 corridor between Seattle and Tacoma, an effort known as the PNW project.
